Mr.Lemke - a question please

Posted By: leon
Your 2002 SCD states Kalamazoo Bats Team card's are N693 (and this is not the cabinet) ...yet all of your previous SCD's had it as N690-1. According to Lew Lipset Burdick designated it as N690-1. I just got mine back from SGC and it is N690-1. Did ya'll just make an honest mistake or is there something we don't know. Thanks for your help, sir........best regards

Mr.Lemke - a question please

Posted By: Bob Lemke
Prior to the release of the 2002 Standard Catalog, Lew Lipset persuaded me to incorporate at least the most often used ACC numbers in the headings for our vintage listings, and provided a cross-reference list. We made the determination to go with the Sports Collectors Bible's numbering for Kalamazoo Bats. That is N690 for small player cards; N690-1 for cabinets and N693 for small team cards. This was done primarily because Burdick's ACC listings were ambiguous.

Posted By: leon
It looks like there has been some new info come out that points to the smaller Kalamazoo Team cards as N693. That is why the 2002 SCD denotes it as such. The saga continues. IF any of you "old time" collectors, or anyone else, have any info let us know.....best regards
