Looking for Speakers - National Net54baseball Dinner (if you call cheap pizza dinner)
 

The title pretty much says it all. As in the past I hope to have 3-4 speakers at the Net54baseball Dinner on Friday night, July 28th. The "Dinner" will start at around 600-630 pm. There will be another thread in a week, or so, that has specifics concerning the dinner as well as an rsvp signup.

The speakers should speak to general vintage baseball (card) hobby and/or current hobby events. What it shouldn't be is an advertisement for whatever company the speaker might work for. A small plug at the end is fine. More than that and you are likely to get booed off stage, as has happened before. Don't be "that" guy LOL. A PM is fine or posting in this thread is fine, and we can take it off line after that. Thanks.

The hobby has been great to me and has given me a lot of pleasure. So at this point in my life if I can give back in some small way, I am willing to do so.
If you think your audience would be interested in hearing the steps I have taken as I SLOWLY auction off my baseball card sets (prepping the sets, how to select an auction house, the importance of customer service, etc.), great. If no, no problem. I blogged about this a few years ago, you may or may not recall. The talk would be advice-oriented and could easily go for about 20 minutes or so. Since the National is where I live (Chicago) I don't have to worry about airfare or housing!
