Net54baseball Live Auction - T206s w/Johnson Port.- Ends Sunday 6/25/23 - 8:00pm CST

Here is another T206 auction.

A gentleman, from completely outside of the hobby, found our forum and contacted me. He said he has some T206s and wants to sell them. We spoke on the phone and he told me they were inherited from his great grandfather. I spoke to him a few times and he seems like a very nice and honest person. So much so, that I will guarantee these auctions personally, as far as the cards getting shipped out. Whomever wins them can pay (him) and have no doubts they will get their card(s) or money back. He still has possession of them right now and will ship them to the winners after payment is received.

You must put the letter before your bid stating which lot the bid is for, A, B or C. No guarantees on the grading AND I might bid in these auctions as they aren't mine and I have no inside knowledge of any bidding.
Paypal FF, Zelle, and cash, check or money order are all good forms of payment. Checks have to clear before shipments. He is going to ship USPS and the winners pay all shipping and insurance costs. IF USPS is a big problem, PM me, and maybe another method can be used.

The auctions will open at $1.

Any bid increment is fine.

A tie goes to the first bid.

Your Final bid is the amount you will pay if you win, regardless of any underbid amount by you, or anyone else.

Auctions close on Sunday, June 25, 2023, 8pm CST. A bid is good at 8pm and not good at 8:01pm.

I reserve the right to modify, or cancel, the auctions for any reason.

Neither one of those later C bids bested the earlier guy. Ya'll might should have paid attention to what the high bid was.

Nah.....I just hate to see someone miss out on an awesome card simply cause they don't understand the rules. Especially on auctions that have a "hard" ending such as this.

I understood the rules. It just was the excitement of the moment that got me. I had a bid ready for a couple of hundred more than the member with the highest bid, but when the $1,895 bid came in, I completely forgot about the earlier bid and lowered my bid by a couple of hundred of dollars in the closing moments. Ended up missing the Johnson by $20. Oh well...mistakes happen.
At least I won lot A. Nice group of cards.

Best regards,

Joe

I too understood the rules and things move quickly at the end. I'm just glad there is someone who is perfect on the board.
