I for one am very excited for the season to start now that the lockout is over.

Opening day looks like it will be Aprill 7th, with spring training starting as early as tomorrow.

Good news - baseball is one of the few things I enjoy on TV

I thought they had already cancelled the first couple of series and last night announce games through April 13 would be cancelled. But you're right, the season will now start April 7 and the cancelled games will be made up as part of the agreement.

They're not as dumb as they were looking to be! Fabulous news.

And the best part is currently my team is undefeated

Mine will be undefeated at least until April 7th. After that, it'll probably be a long year in Boston.

The owners FINALLY came to their senses

The crazy thing is the MLBPA Executive Council voted 8-0 to refuse the deal but were overruled by the players. Talk about a Union being out of touch with its members.

agreed that was amazing but in some ways not surprising. The players on the Executive Board are players who all made or are making alot of money. THe rank and files for the most part are not making the top dollar and could not afford to miss game checks
