I suspect if you read the book you will find your answer. Perhaps these are people who provided quotations for the book. There was a Nancy Dill of Putnam County, NY who passed away on June 9, 2021. She hosted a cable tv show called "Positively Good News" which seems to fit with the theme of the book.
