*UPDATE VIDEO* Original 1915-1921 ZEENUT Collection w/ NEW CHECKLIST ADDITION!

Last month I posted a video in the January 2021 Pickup thread showing a collection of 450+ Zeenut, Colgan’s Tin Tops, etc. cards in the original album. I have spent the better part of the past month removing the cards from that album and have made a new video showing the end result of the process.

For those that may have missed the original video I had made here is that video highlighting the Album as I received it (it is somewhat long at 36:00 minutes):

Original Video (Album before cards were removed):

Through the process I was able to find out the original collector’s name was Bob Dunn and he lived in the Bay Area during the time these cards were originally being distributed. His collection follows the pattern of most youngsters with cards being in progressively better condition as he aged, thus, some of the 1921 cards were really well preserved.

Overall there were over 450 Zeenut cards in complete condition (not including those the Bob had trimmed or otherwise done surgery on.) There were also a dozen or so E270 Tin Tops and a few other fun items.

The new video I made highlighting the collection is REALLY LONG (just over 1 hour) so feel free to not watch the whole thing but I feel it is worth the view if you have the time! I also go into a bit of detail on how I was able to remove the cards and the other items from the album and the process I go through to not damage the cards as much as possible.

Let me know what you guys think here and in the comment section of the YouTube video, I would also appreciate any new subscribers on YouTube as well (shameless plug).

Congrats Rhett on all the successful soaking, and congrats on the confirmation of Fournier. And it is great to get a full view of the 1919 checklist ad.

Congrats on the find. Congrats on the successful soaking too. That was probably a little stressful at times.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

I figured I’d give a single bump before it drifts off the 1st page.

"This is going to be a long video... I don't care." :D

Man I love these videos, Rhett! Thanks so much for sharing your collection and process with us. Congrats on the success of getting these out of the album.

Not just the cards, but the 1919 checklist is *awesome*. So great for that to come out of this discovery.

I just watched the hour long video & it was worth all my time. I only have one Zeenut card, but I found myself wanting more. Thanks.

I saw the original post and just went looking for an update -- happy to actually find one.

Great video Rhett! I was most curious about the outcome with the checklist --- I am thrilled to see that it looks so great!!
