So, this holiday season you may or may not have to wear a suit and tie at least once. Let's see the ballplayers in their best attire:

Lefty Grove and Connie Mack.....
2 Attachment(s)
Here are a couple pictures of Lefty Grove and Connie Mack. For the car guys on the forum, Lefty is posing in Philadelphia with his 1929 Nash, Advance Six, Two-door sedan, model 463. Lefty bought the car new. It retailed between $1,430 and $1480. The 463 had twin ignition (two spark plugs for each cylinder).

My great-grandfather is labeled 13 in this photo. I believe these are Chicago White Sox players from around 1912.

Buck and Joe, pre trial garb.
Buck always liked to look sharp, dapper you`d say. Shown here Buck during another White Sox trial in 1924. Joe`s is a shot of him from Sept 1920 minutes before 1`st testifying to the Cooks County Grand Jury. It was the first time he admitted "we took monies from the gamblers", and triggered the biggest baseball mystery the game has ever seen. Cool thread......
