Munson photobomb

So I was looking through some 1970s cards recently and noticed that Thurman Munson shows up on several cards of other players, notably:
1971 Vada Pinson
1972 Bill Melton IA??
1973 Terry Crowley
1974 Fran Healy
1977 World Series
1978 Doug Ault

Does anyone know of any other cards that show Thurman, but are not his cards? I'm sure I've missed some. I'm guessing that in general, this was due to Topps bias towards taking photos in Yankee Stadium.

I think the Crowley card is my fav.

That's not a definite Munson on Melton's '72 card. Two other possibles: 1971 Topps Rich Reese and 1972 Yaz in Action (both Yankee catchers pictured).

A few years ago there was a thread on Net54 where a couple of people were speculating that Munson was behind Gibbs on his 1970 card, but I believe it is more likely Tom Tresh. Tresh was traded June 14, 1969 and Munson made his debut August 8, 1969. ETA, the photo was taken during the 1969 as Gibbs has a MLB 100 year anniversary patch on his uniform.

You are right on the Melton card. I believe that may be Jake Gibbs. I had read on a 'website we shall not name' that it was Munson, but upon further inspection, I believe it is Gibbs. Doesn't look like Munson's squat.

The picture looks MUCH more like Gibbs than it does Munson. Checking Baseball Reference, Gibbs started two home games against the White Sox in 1971. July 17 and July 18 (both day games - Melton card definitely a day game). Melton struck out 3 times July 18 (and swinging and missing in the card) so I'd lean toward the photo being taken on July 18, 1971.

This is, without question, Munson photobombing the 1971 George Spriggs.
