Ebay: Is this Real? Topps 206 Buy back t206

Hello All!

This is my first post! I am new to collecting the t206 for my son. I am interested in collecting the Pittsburg Pirates (minus Wagner) in various backs as I am from the area and the set came out when my grandfather was born. I am learning a lot searching the forums and t206resource.com. Is the listing below legit? Also, any advice would be welcome, Thanks!

Yes, there is a real card inside, but it's just a gimmick and Topps packaging doesn't have any real collectible value. Don't pay a premium for it.

Looks legit to me.

The EPDG back is a mid-tier back, so there will be some premium for it being tougher than the most common backs -- especially because it is now posted on the main board.

One other thing to keep in mind regarding the Topps Buy Backs is that a former board member sliced them open to replace them with cards in worse condition or where he had erased a mark, etc:

I don't worry about that here as he would have swapped this EPDG for a Piedmont or Sweet Cap card, but it reinforces Manny's comment that you shouldn't pay a premium for the Buy Back holder.
