Is Pricerealized.com still active?

I noticed on my searches at pricerealized.com that the latest auction selling prices are from late August.

A few weeks back I sent an email to the site contact person to see if the site is being updated and never heard back.

Can anyone tell me if the site is still being updated with auction results?

Thanks!

I am a subscriber and I just searched mantle and the newsest hit was sept 18. I would assume that is fairly current. But maybe not???

Don't Mantles sell on a daily basis?

prestigecollectibles 12-08-2016 01:01 PM

Seems the most recent listing is the Sep 18, 2016 Heritage Auction. Hopefully they will update the site soon.

As a subscriber, have they always been about three months behind and they are still active or did they shut down their operation?

I did send an email to them but did not hear back. Thanks everyone, I appreciate your help!

I emailed them today to see what is going on.

I noticed their mailing address is 1900 S Main St, Los Angeles which is the same address as the Sports Museum of Los Angeles

I believe it is the son of the owner.

Sports Museum of Los Angeles is currently closed. They're looking for a cheaper place to rent.

The landlord is looking for his price realized as well.;)

The museum doesn't need an expensive location with their material. Having been there once, I think anywhere they go collectors will follow.

I hope pricerealized keeps going too as I have referred to it on occasion.

I'm pretty sure Gary owns the building where they currently reside

Hi everyone. Jeremy from PriceRealized here. While we have been updating the site, most recently a little less than 2 weeks ago, it appears that we have a bug in our backend that is preventing users outside our internal network from accessing this new data. We were not aware of this issue until this post was made and i want to apologize for any inconvenience that this issue has caused. We have begun going through the code to see what is causing this issue and hope to have this issue resolved quickly, hopefully by the end of this week. Once again i apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused and i will post an update once this issue is fixed.

Once again the power of Net54 makes itself felt!

Just wanted to mention that the site is working again! Thanks Jeremy, it is an amazing and very worthwhile site for those that want to track of what sports items are selling for or the history of unusual pieces.

I'm resurrecting this thread since I've been having problems accessing the site for a while now. Anyone know what's going on??

RedsFan1941 03-29-2018 07:50 PM

i overheard two dealers at the recent chicago show talking about that site and one said it was days away from ceasing to exist. looks like he was correct.

pherbener 03-29-2018 07:57 PM

Too bad! It's a great reference. I use it all the time.

Aquarian Sports Cards 03-29-2018 09:30 PM

I was on this morning.

Edit: Just hopped on no problem.

pherbener 03-30-2018 07:12 AM

I get a privacy error when I try to log in from both my computer and my phone.

gzman 03-31-2018 02:48 PM

Me too and they have done some pretty good stuff with the site. I searched the database and found where I bought my current T205 Cobby approx. 5-6 months ago. It doesn't seem to be extensive but it's nicely done and it's free too. Free is always a plus. I use Google, auction house online histories and Ebay past sales for most of my pricing. Besides that I just wing it.

prestigecollectibles 04-04-2018 10:51 AM

Their site is not secure so it is difficult to get to it at least with Google Chrome. I know the most recent 18 months viewing is free, but I stopped paying since they are so slow to update it. Last update was November 2017. It seems they really don't care. Not sure how they justify charging $99 a year.

gzman 04-05-2018 10:03 AM

Agree about the laziness...but, the history is awesome, and, I find it worth the 99 bucks..best way to skirt the security issue is to go to the site from a search engine...

prestigecollectibles 01-01-2019 02:17 PM

Does anyone still pay to use pricerealized.com? They haven't updated the site since May 17, 2018. If the auction houses are paying a fee to be included they aren't getting their money's worth either.

ALBB 01-01-2019 02:26 PM

site

Sport Ring web site..very entertaining !

gzman 01-01-2019 03:55 PM

My payment was applied last Summer...but, not going to happen again if they don't start updating...love the content, but, they are letting the biz die...reached out through website..will see what reply is!
