1909 Chicago Cubs Orval Overall and Jimmy Archer Photograph/Postcard**SOLD**
 

This item originates from the personal scrapbook of cubs pitcher Orval Overall. Most of the photos were personal after leaving baseball but there was some from his playing days.

This photo was once actually a full size real photo postcard as you can see from the back. Pictures Overall and Archer who is identified in ink. There is a heavy diagonal crease as shown in the scan.

Postmarked 1909 on the back from Cincinatti. Appers postcard was in Overall's handwriting and that "Orval" at the end of the message may be a partial autograph.
