WSSCA Summer Convention, June 4 & 5

Hello all,
We've had a very strong interest in setting up at this show, with some great material coming out of the woodwork....we're even having to add tables to the floor, which we've never had to do in my 7 years with the club. Come on out and get your hunt on!

June 4 & 5
Saturday 9-5
Sunday 9-3

Meridian Park School
17077 Meridian Ave N

You can PM me with questions.

I gotta bump up for this great show!

I will be there to see the PACNW crew, hangout with buddies and acquire some more baseball cards.
Anyone who has considered , but not attended this show in the past...really should:)

I'm looking forward to this !

Looking forward to seeing the crew at this great, traditional show... I'll be bringing along the usual selection of beanie babies and pogs....oh wait! wrong show !, ...... I mean Obaks and Zeenuts.......Brian...Hope to see you on the way up there. Those three hour power breakfasts give me all the energy I need to get from Portland to Seattle:)

This event is great, and growing every year! Can barely wait the six months between WSSCA shows.

Going to be a busy week. For those baseball historians in the Seattle area: The Northwest African American Museum will host a reading/presentation of "Darkhorse: The Jimmy Claxton Story" on Thursday June 2 at 7pm to commemorate the 100th anniversary of his integration of professional baseball (May 28). The presentation will last 40-45 minutes followed by a 20-25 minute Q&A. There will be quite a few photos and Claxton related stories, that are not available in the book.

I'd like to thank the WSSCA for the opportunity to share his story at their monthly meeting in April. See you all Sunday :)

Bummed

I just found out that I will have to work on the weekend of the show.

Even worse is that it's out in Montana.

I've been working an inordinate amount and traveling constantly too...I was really looking forward to taking a break from real world stress and hanging out with my friends.

I'm totally bummed.

Sorry to hear that, Brian. You'll be missed.

Thanks to all the collectors and dealers who came out this weekend! It was great seeing the usual cast of characters as well as a few new ones. Can't wait to do it all again in the fall,

Andrew
