I have this Fro-Joy Ice Cream uncut sheet. Checking if any members have seen anything like this. And could a black light or jewelers lupe help date this piece?
Thank you all |
Sorry to say, It is very fake, 100%. Seen many like it, way too grainy and wrong stock. Probably made in the 1980s-1990s. Hope this helps.
close to the same stock as this one... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Older-Copy-o...cAAOSwHnFVuwY9 . |
Thank you Leon.

Tell tale sign is the box on the back, the lines do not come to a point.

You don't learn by not making mistakes. Luckily I had less than 30 bucks in it at the time, but in those days 30 bucks would have been nice. Lol. |

?
Getting back to one of the original questions - will a black light show this as modern paper or was old paper used for the reprints?
Thanks |

Most of the fakes I have used a black light on don't fluoresce. A few have..

Anyone have an authentic example of one of these? There are a ton of fakes and RP on ebay.

Genuine:
http://photos.imageevent.com/exhibit...Ruth%201_1.jpg I bought a raw set many years ago and had Beckett slab it since PSA refused. I used one of the Gene Tunney cards to compare stock, print, etc. |
