Heritage, sales tax on interstate commerce

I received the below notification from Heritage last week. From the language of paragraph #25 it appears to be applicable to all states, not only Florida.

A) Is that correct?
B) Is this a new law in Texas? And if so,
C) Will this also apply to future B&L Auctions?
D) And what about eBay sales?
E) Should we expect the other states to be following suit in the near future?

Effective July 15th, Heritage will be required by state law to charge all applicable sales taxes on any items delivered to Florida addresses other than sales to dealers with valid Florida sales tax numbers who are purchasing for resale and who furnish us with a properly completed Florida resale certificate (exempt purchasers may furnish us with properly completed Florida exemption certificates). Please see paragraph #25 in our Terms and Conditions (PDF) for more complete information. This does not apply to most US Coins and Currency.

Perhaps Heritage has now set up an office in Florida?

Apparently Heritage now has a Florida location, thus they are required to collect the tax from Florida residents. Unfortunately B&L does not have a Florida branch :(, so we will not be collecting from Florida residents, only Texas residents without a resale cert on file.

That is applicable to all states HA has an office in. So just hope they don't put a physical location in your state.

+1....only companies that have a physical presence in a particular state charge tax. B & L charges for Texas residents.
