Just got this - my first Chase. Been after a nice one for awhile. Thanks to a very nice member of this forum.

7nohitter 06-01-2015 03:41 AM

Wow, gorgeous Chase!

RGold 06-01-2015 05:24 AM

Herb, beautiful card. Your Cracker Jacks always make me kick myself for not collecting them. :D:D:D

MVSNYC 06-01-2015 06:48 AM

Outstanding Chase.

Won this the other night in LOTG. It'll go well with my Mullin w/ bat Uzit example.

atx840 06-01-2015 11:17 AM

Nice pickup Mike.

+1. Did you decide you were going to win that auction when you first saw it, or were you Mullin it over? (sorry)

Now that SGC moved to the new label, did they stop labeling P42 cards? My old examples of my 2 graded P42s both mention it in the label, prior to SGCs switch.

MVSNYC 06-01-2015 12:10 PM

Thanks Chris.

Todd- Ha, good one! :)

Wazoo- I think sometimes they mention the P42, and other times not...seems random, from what I've seen.

Jobu 06-01-2015 12:29 PM

Nice Mullin.

Sometimes when you see an auction you bid, other times "Uzit" it out and let someone else pick it the card.

Thanks guys. I'd been looking for a nice one for a long time.

Ron, thanks. I feel the same way every time I look at your Goudeys lol.

C'mon guys - please now help me find a high grade '15 CJ Cicotte :)

cincyredlegs 06-01-2015 06:36 PM

Picked these three up from Mike Healer (my first T213's). Thanks Mike.

Picked these up over the past couple weeks (May, June, who's counting?), most recently the Walsh, which I got yesterday from member Dave (ccre). Thanks Dave!

That Rucker looks so much more like a photograph than most T206's. Nice card!

Thank you to fellow Net54 member Frank W. for working with my limited resources to make this transaction a reality. While many may look at this as a beater, to me it is gorgeous and the pride and joy of my t206 collection. I am over the moon at being able to acquire this piece of cardboard.

Jeff, congratulations. You picked up a big one, even if it's in poor condition.

By the way, my O'Hara is also a PSA 1.:)

pawpawdiv9 06-03-2015 10:51 AM

@Tom: Not too shabby on that 'Sand-man"

Thanks Sean! PSA 1's seem to have a great variance, how does yours compare?

Thanks Daryl!!!

Sean 06-03-2015 06:53 PM

Sorry Jeff, I don't have a scan available. :o

atx840 06-03-2015 07:08 PM

Great cards everyone, love the Mantle & Mays.

Jeff that's a smart example to pickup, one I think most dread paying the high premium for. Well now you have yours. Congrats.

Finally got a Pattee and at a pretty damn good price too. $40 for a PSA 2 not bad.

A couple of Polar Bears =)
And a $19 Hinchman !

Awesome card. I was watching this but went way over my budget. So happy a board member picked it up. Truly love this card!!

Want to make you guys feel better. You don't have the worst O'Hara on the board. That title belongs to me.

That would be one of the first 10 lots in the next REA auction if that were a T206. Awesome and under-appreciated card.

I haven't bought a baseball card in a LONG time but couldn't pass this one up. Always loved 59 Bazookas and now I have one.

Jacklitsch 06-04-2015 11:41 AM

Very nice Jeff!

Leon 06-04-2015 11:45 AM

Doesn't get a lot better than that, congrats Jeff...
