Help identifying two postcards?

If the geniuses here can't help no one will...

A friend of mine has these two items and many more like them.

The first seems like a JD McCarthy postcard. Can anyone confirm that it's Ernie Harwell? I can't find a McCarthy Harwell anywhere. He has 65 different postcards which I think are all McCarthys. (McCarthies? McCarthii?)

The second...I don't even know. My friend says they're 3x5 and he has 7 different ones. 7-Up Toronto Argonauts searches turn up nothing.

Seems to strongly resemble Harwell, although the nose looks maybe a bit small...

The Boyd Carter card is from 1960 or '61, going by the his age of 24 as stated there.
Here's Carter's record at cflapedia.com, who would surely appreciate a scan of your card:

Thanks for the year range, didn't even think to look up his age and figure out years. Duh! No idea what that set is though?

My opinion is that postcard is a photo of Harwell and it is a JD McCarthy postcard. The McCarthy Postcards are suppose to be 3 1/2" X 5 1/16 ". Contact your friend to see if the postcard matches the size of the McCarthy's cards.
Couldn't find anything of a Boyd Carter wearing a #82. With the Argonauts in "59 thru 62, Carter wore #70 or 87.
Sorry couldn't help any further.
There were some 1980 reprints of the JD McCarthy postcards and I believe the size of those are 3 1/4 X 5 1/2, but do not think Harwell was in the reprints.
