Blatant fake! back print should be blue and front is very grainy.

Same guy who is supposedly trusted by forum members, but who is also selling this Ruth forgery with a non-believable 'provenance' story:

He says it has as Keating letter of authenticity, I believe? The card on ebay, mentioned in the first post, is horrid and was ended.

The letter does not have a photo of the ball on it. My assumption has to be that the letter goes with a different ball, although the seller says he purchased it from the guy who created the provenance, around 20 years ago. Someone's full of crap, but hard to determine who.

Cards can be outed easy enough and removed from ebay. Autographs with LOA's, on the other hand, not so much.

I normally giggle at the ebay outings but this ball is scary. It looks authentic to me and the story is believable. However, the LOA not picturing the ball is a bad sign and may be it's killer.
