1930s? Del-Ray Giants black baseball team
 

Since we did good on the dating of the other photo let's give this one a go. Here is one of the 1930s? Del-Ray Giants black baseball team. Two questions on this one. 1. Has anyone ever heard of them or know anything about them? My guess is "no" and this was a regional or city team so there won't be much, if any, info. 2. Is my date of 1930s accurate? I was also thinking maybe the 1940s....? Thanks guys!!

The style of gloves laying on the ground look 1920's

Based on the gloves, which appear to have split fingers and single tunnel loop or tunnel web construction, I would say pre-1940.

I thought there was too much padding on the catchers mask to be 1920s...

1920s masks do have solid padding like that.
