This is terrible, but I'm not sure why the stolen items keep getting described as "priceless." If they had been listed at an auction, I'm sure a price would have been arrived at. They will undoubtedly be difficult for the thieves to sell, since the items can be identified (and since a lot of their value stems from the fact that they were Yogi's), but that doesn't make them "priceless."

I apologize for the digression and no disrespect meant to Yogi, but as a former news reporter I tend to get annoyed by hackneyed journalism.

Posted this on the other side, but I read today in the Post that they stole some of his World Series rings and two of his three MVP plaques.

I assume the use of "priceless" in these articles refers to the fact that if they are not returned, they CANNOT be replaced. they are unique items, trophies, rings, etc given to Yogi for his achievements. they each are 1 of 1's.

I truly hope he gets his items back.

PS- what would great, is if he comes out and says, that ALL of those items were REPLICAS that they made for the museum display, and that his REAL rings and trophies are tucked away in a vault.
