Some reason, I didn't think of looking at the Bay..you and another person both gave me that. Thanks.

I won't ask for that much, due to minor stain area, small hole is against black strip, but its really nice. will list it for sale tomorrow night prob.

Thanks sir and to Ben for the PM.

I think the prices on eBay are pretty aggressive for such a non descript O's pennant. I am familiar with the pennant, but I was thinking more like $150 for it. People can ask whatever they want for it, but I think that is more realistic. I am sure you got it for a good price so nice pick up either way and good luck in your sale. Jason

Completely agree w/Jason...

Don't get too greedy with this one. Those ebay BIN prices are very aggressive, and that inventory is prone to sit there for months (perhaps years). I think $120 - $135 is about right, assuming you're really looking to move it (vs. just showing it off).

you are right sir. thanks. see sale section

Orioles pennant

The Keezer pennants are very cool and well made in my opinion, the tassels are often intact because the stitching is well done. However, the eBay seller who calls it a '54 pennant has absolutely no way to justify, these pennants could be anywhere between '54 and mid 60s. Seems as if the company locked into one design per team (some with two) and just kept churning them out.

mine doesn't say Keezer. So, now its not that old? Thanks tho

I think Greg's post came off in the wrong way....your pennant DOES look like a Keezer and I'm not sure they were marked.

As far as the year, I myself wondered why those BIN eBay sellers attributed it to the first year. I'm not an Orioles collector, so I really wouldn't know. I'm a Giants collector and the first year or two pennants are easily discerned by their depictions of Seals Stadium and/or photo matching at Seals Stadium games. Yours very well might be a first year pennant but I wonder why we know that.

I like the pennant (Giants colors :D) and you've got it well priced. I hope you find it a good home.

Thank you sir. It is nice no matter what.

Yeah, sorry, didn't mean for that to be taken that way. Some of my Keezer pennants are stamped and others aren't. I don't have the slightest idea why. And if you are like me who really only cares what they look like, it doesn't matter, they are nice looking. My point was merely that these pennants are very hard to pin down as far as age is concerned. Just as likely to be early-mid 60s as mid 50s IMO. This company spanned the STL Browns and the Houston Astros.
