I remember this set well. It was distributed on a limited basis, though more extensively than many test issues. I bought several packs while visiting my cousins in Parkersburg, WV. There are 55 "cards" which consist of a cloth sticker on a paper backing, two stickers to a pack. They tend to unravel if you are not careful with them. There was also a group of 18 checklists which made a puzzle of the all-star team. A couple of the cards deviate in a minor way from the fronts of the regular set…but the fronts are generally the same as the 1977 Topps cards. There are quite a few Hall of Famers and a very good representation of the stars of the day. I would imagine the Nolan Ryan card would generally be acknowledged as the most desirable of the set. There are always a bunch on Ebay, but sets don't come up all that often.

There are well more than a dozen hall of famers in the set. I just noticed that I only do have numbers 1-52, not numbers 53-55. I must have lost them. I'll drop the price to $85 delivered because of that.
