Help with 1925 ticket

2 Attachment(s)
I have a few tickets in my collection and have an idea of value. I have 2 April 26, 1925 tickets Navin Field between Detroit Tigers and St. Louis Browns.
Two HOF player managers were there but only Sisler played. Cobb did not play just managed. I have no idea of value on these tickets and I know tickets are a hard thing to value. Can anyone give me an idea on these tickets? Thanks D.

Ticket value

Hi Dynarl,

Ticket value is realistically driven by age, condition and the significance of the actual event itself. A game that Babe Ruth hit a HR in, or Cy Young pitched would significantly up the value of a ticket.

Looking at this specific game:

1) The tickets themselves are in OK shape, exhibiting minor creasing and staining on the front. Without seeing a scan of the back I cant take this into consideration to help determine value.

2) The fact that this ticket is dated and is from the 1920's is a plus

3) The event itself does not have any special significance that would appear to drive value. "Bullet" Joe Bush did get the win, but I suspect that not many collectors would care a lot about this. FYI, Bullet Joe did pitch a no-hitter in his career.

4) If that photo is to the same game, which I believe it is, this would make the pairing more interesting because it gives you a snapshot of the actual event.

I suspect that (1) ticket itself might be worth $35- $50 at the most assuming the back of the ticket does not exhibit paper loss. With the snapshot it might bring $75 or more.

I hope you find this helpful...

Thanks Scott very helpful. Back of tickets are good but don't know when picture was taken but think in the mid 30,s. D.
