How rare is the George Brown T206 Washington variation?
?

I am sure there are more educated and scientific responses, but my general "feel" from collecting the monster goes that it would fall somewhere in the order of
Wagner Plank Magie Ohara / Demmitt var Lundgren / Dahlen next group of variations which would include Browne Wash Southern Leaguers.... Not incredibly common, but probably ten a year show up on BST, and at least a couple at any given time on Ebay, generally with very high BINS |
Didn't you just have a thread about this same card recently?

Yup!
Go to T206Resource.com and read up; it's there. If you trying to find out an educated production estimate, Tim is super helpful and would be the best person to ask. Craig |

Yes one about buying one but wanted to know it's rarity sorry if another thread disturbs you...was not thinking it would. |
Just seems redundant and clogs up the main board. No worries. :)

I will make sure it does not happen again I apologize to all board members. |
Not rare
I wouldn't say it's rare at all. Anything that can easily be found on eBay at any given moment isn't rare. It's more scarce than a Marquard of course, but nothing close to rare.
I never found any of the T206s to be all that difficult to find given resources like Net54, eBay, auction houses, shows. Even the two St Louis variations or 3 of the big 4 come up for auction all the time. To me, the only 'rare' T206 would be the Doyle error. Of course I'm not referring to specific front/back combinations, miscuts, missing colors and freaks. |

That is the felling I was getting myself except for the Doyle and the rare backs of course. The others seem if you have the cash they are pretty easy to find. |
