Open to offers.

I have just listed the 6 billiard players from this set on ebay, as well as Zukertort, the chess player. I will be moving these to ebay soon, so feel free to make an offer.

All remaining cards are currently on ebay, auctioned individually.

I know sometimes forum members wonder how items do here, as compared to ebay. I don't mind sharing since the data's readily available:

I didn't get any offers here for this lot, or for any portion of it. I sold the cards individually on ebay for $676, keeping two for now.

The T218's did not fare so well, but I also did not get any offers when I listed them here.

Despite all that, it's always fun to interact with fellow board members and do a few deals, so I'll continue to post items here first, then move to ebay if there is no interest from forum members.

Thanks for those of you who helped me part with about half of a 1933 Goudey set recentlY!

Glad it worked out to get roughly your original asking price (after fees) on the N162's - those are nice cards and being on vacation, I missed your posts on the fairly priced cards.

I was happy to pick up both of your T218 billiards lots - they're great cards and at least I think they fared well (well, for me!)....

Scott, you did VERY well on the T218's - I paid $184 for those! But I did okay overall, which is how it generally goes :)

Thanks for your bids!

Hi, do you have any more N162 for sale?.If so, what are they and how much are they?.Please advise.Barry.
PS I tried to bid on your recent N162 items but it/you would not allow me to- a real shame as I would have bid more than the prices obtained!

Overall, it's best that I do not allow bidders with certain characteristics. I'm sure a few good bidders slip through the cracks, but the angst of bad dealings with a few others is just not worth it to me. I'm not maximizing profit, but I have a nice roof over my head and eat well.

I only have two left, and would be happy to sell them - a duplicate of 'Taylor-Lawn Tennis' with a nice front and the back PL typical of the others, and Gaudaur/Oarsman - beautiful card with EXTRA paper on the back. I decided to eventually soak the paper off. Scans are shown above.

Thanks Barry. I sent you scans and prices - they are less than what similar cards brought on ebay, so I look forward to dealing with you.
