OT: Registering for Legendary Auction

I went to register for Legendary Auctions, and I see that they want 2 references. I have not bid on any items in an auction, outside of ebay, for over 5 years. Is there a way to get around this?

Thank you

Just put down Doug Allen and Bill Mastro and you are good to go!

I suspect a good working eBay account would count as one.

Also, if you know of anyone who's a dealer or well known collector, that would count as another. If you've bought on eBay, you very well may have bought from a well known seller and list that person.

If you don't have the latter, just try your eBay name and feedback number. The auction just house wants evidence you pay your bidding bills and such, and an eBay account is evidence of that.

I was planning on using Barry Halper and Coache's Corner, but will you those two instead.

Actually, I will call on Monday and try that way. Thanks for pointers in the right direction.

I seriously thought this thread was in jest ...Sorry , But have you ever thought that Maybe sometimes its appropriate for the buyers to ask the sellers for references .
