Resource for Major/Minor League team owners?

Is anyone aware of a reference for who the owners of the teams have been over the years? Of greater interest to me would be minor league teams simply because of the amount of time required to drill down and find the information for even one team for a specific year. Researching the major league owners is a little easier, but if someone has already compiled or started to compile a comprehensive list that I could check first (to avoid duplicating research) and then add to as necessary, that would be wonderful.

This feels like a SABR project, or perhaps byproduct of a project. In browsing through the reference material available to SABR members, nothing jumped out at me, but maybe there is something that I overlooked? Any help or a point in the right direction would be appreciated.

Good luck on the minor league owners with over 30,000 team. I think the major league level would be a lot easier.

If you interested in Major league managers, coaches and umpires with photos you can always look here.

Don, Thanks for the well-wishes :D I fully realize that it would be a herculean task to research and assemble the information, which is why I've only done piecemeal research depending on what I was working on at the time. If anyone else has already done something similar that I could refer to, collaborate with or build off of though, I don't see any point in duplicating research work, especially on such a huge project.

Thanks also for the link. Looks like some very interesting threads there that I'll be checking out.
