Help Dating NY Giants Team Signed Ball
 
I am trying to figure out what year this NY Giants signed baseball is from. There are some key names that I recognize such as Leo Durocher (Manager), Monte Irvin, Bobby Thomson, Johnny Mize, Whitey Lockman and Ray Mueller. There are 23 signatures total; many of which I don't recognize.

Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

1949 ... Kirby Higbe got there in June and Johnny Mize was sold to the Yankees in August ...

you beat me to it I was going to say 48 or 49! But I to believe 49 is correct!

I don't know much about autographs, but I'm guessing the most sought-after one on the ball is Hank Thompson. He played in the Negro Leagues, helped integrate the majors, was a key player on two pennant winners and died young ...

Thanks for the help. I am not an autograph collector either. I acquired this as a small piece of a large card collection and I am planning on selling it, but I figured it would be good to know exactly what I have before I try to sell it.
