Maybe some of those Topps/Bowman Chrome refractors will work for signaling? Then you'll need some 1988 Topps too. Gotta have something worthless to burn for warmth and smoke signals. Last, a T206 set.

vintagerookies51 09-21-2011 01:35 PM

n172

Wow, good call. That set wasn't even on my radar!

And as for my top three, I understand going with sets like T206, T212, T210 and N172 for the quantity, but for me, I need something to read as well. Fortunately, two of my all-time favourite sets can provide that:

1912 C46 Imperial Tobacco
1914 E144 Cracker Jack

My third choice, is a bit of a cheater. Nonetheless, I round out with the 1991-1995 Megacards Conlon Collection. I realize it's modern, but 1430 cards featuring the photography of Charles Conlon and massive writeups on each card would pass a LOT of time.

Regards,

Richard.

Wite3 09-22-2011 10:55 PM

T205, N172, and the Allegeheny (sp?) card set.

Joshua
