nice card

Nice card.....goes well with all of the pop music cd's they normally buy and sell.....Nothing like a Mint Joe Jackson to get the bidding going.....It is a great looking card though. I wonder how Peru is this time of year :)

graded

How did he get it graded and how did it get a 96? Is this a stolen photo? Does the registration number match up with anything on the SGC books?

Interesting twist

What I find interesting is that the photo on the left is a real Jackson E145 while the closeup shows a reprint. I'm quessing that is his angle.

The SGC one is a picture of Memory lane on, and the closeup a reprint. This one in Lima is over 10K. Can't SOMEONE get this shut down? There is OBVIOUS FRAUD here, and someone is going to get burned

On the bright side, The buyer will earn 100 ebaY bucks!

I love it. He cancelled one bidders $12.00 bid due to zero feedback, but leaves the guys bids that bring it to $20k, who also has zero feedback.

I hate to see anyone get ripped off, but lets face it anyone who would bid on this cannot be helped from themselves.

egbeachley 09-08-2011 04:07 PM

I don't see why we couldn't get it to $500K before it gets taken down.

nsaddict 09-08-2011 07:46 PM

Sorry fella's the card is gone. Maybe someone made an off-line offer.

eBay removed his listing (not him), yet they let his other auctions remain. I just don't get it. If you're caught trying to scam, shouldn't your account automatically be deactivated? Another reason why eBay is so screwed up.

"220847470859 - Jack Joe Jackson Cracker from 1915

We're sorry to tell you that the item isn't available for purchase anymore. We removed the listing because it likely fell into one of these three categories:

-- The listing doesn't follow eBay guidelines.
-- The item isn't allowed on eBay or can only be listed under certain conditions.
-- The listing contains pictures or words that may have violated copyright or trademark rights.

This is disappointing for everyone, but sometimes it's an action we have to take to protect you as a buyer."

Ebay's CEO should be tarred and feathered. Disappointing for everyone?.. You cant make this sh!t up!

Well, if you are caught trying to sell an item you don't have, eBay will usually just tell you not to sell the item again. (though they make no mention of more scams) However, if your "DSR's" are below their standards (which is around 4.1 I believe) then your account will be deactivated.

You can be a thief but if they catch you they will take back the thing you stole...and let you keep stealing everything else. Only the things they catch, will they take back, as you go about your business stealing more. Only on ebay....
