The book largely consists of information and articles that have appeared on my website and articles that were published elsewhere, but in convenient and pretty paperback form. It covers photos from all eras (1800s-today) and types, tintypes to cabinet cards to Polaroids and everything in between. It's black and white but has lots of pictures. Technically, it's categorized as non-sport but is easily applied to sports photos (as evidence, pages include pic of Joe Louis snapshot, discussion of Willie Mays wirephoto, sports cabinet cards and CDVs, etc).
