SOLD - 1942 Spot Magazine with Negro League HOF'er Josh Gibson Feature
Posted By: <b>Phil Garry</b><p>Good Morning, Collectors:<br /><br />I am now asking $250.00 on a REALLY COOL and VERY SCARCE August, 1942 issue of Spot Magazine (a Gentleman's Publication of the Era) which features an in-depth article along with numerous pictures of Negro League Hall of Fame Great, Josh Gibson, including a full page 11" X 14" portrait. As all of you Negro League and Josh Gibson collectors out there surely know, it is very rare to find a career contemporary collectible with the content and photos that are included in this Josh Gibson relic. I am providing scans of all of the Gibson pictures along with the article and magazine cover.<br /><br />The magazine is in very nice condition for its age with cover and all pages remaining intact.
