1952 Topps Coca-Cola Regional NY Set ??
 

Posted By: <b>Jeff S.</b><p>I recently uncovered five of these cards in my collection, which were originally found in a New York City doctor's estate roughly 20 years ago. I couldn't find much on them but I believe they're a regional issue strictly for the NY City area, judging by the three NY teams represented. They're similar to a Hires issue - maybe scarcer? Any info would be greatly appreciated!<br /><br /><img src="http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/ladypaper/img258x.jpg">

Posted By: <b>Anthony N.</b><p>They are 1952 Coke Tips. There are 10 in the set (2 of Bobby Thompson) and 2 scarce test cards- Mays and Rizzuto.<br /><br />They come up occasionally. Alan Rosen had a find of these about 5 years ago and that put a lot of them out in the market. There are usually a few sets a year offered in the various auction house offerings.
