To Grade Or Not To Grade?

Been thinking about letting this card go. Would love people's thoughts...Grade it or leave it raw?

Having the same thought process for these two. Thoughts?

All of those are worthy of grading.

Sell them raw. You know graded cards never do as well as raw. Make sure you give Leon his commis for using the front page again.

Grade

Should get plenty of offers from this post. See if any make sense before spending money to grade and the time factor.

Cards
What do people think that they would grade if submitted?
|
I'll guess PSA 4 for the triple folder (presuming the factory fold lines aren't counted against you, and PSA 5.5-6 for the two Mays.
|
Depends on your reason for grading. I like the looks of cards in slabs for display. Quie frankly, I could care less what grade a card gets. It is presentation for me for dis play.
|
I would consider getting them graded if it meant that they might bring a better price. Trying to put the 1952 Topps set together and could use every red cent that I can get for cards that I might be willing to part with.

Well, your issue may be that since they're both oversized, you wouldn't be able to submit them at a low price with a bulk submitter. You'd have to have a large group or use vouchers if you currently have any.
PSA has gotten rid of the $20 service level right now and "sold out" of the annual memberships which come with vouchers. So you'd have to create your own submission group of oversized to make it worthwhile right now. |
