I would argue that it is impossible for a true 1/1 to have a rare back.;)

Andy is a nice guy, great grader and very good hobby friend. He will be duly chided at our next lunch outing.....

Pup6913 05-16-2012 09:08 AM

That should not be allowed. I guess I will send in some fridge pics my kids drew to BGS for slabbing:( They are truly priceless 1/1's:p

Hey guys I just got this great piece of ultra-rare (1 of 1) original artwork slabbed by Beckett and it's going up on eBay later today, unless of course someone wants to make me an exciting offer I can't refuse first.

That's actually a really cool Wagner. I don't know how or why it got slabbed, but it's really nice (if it was handmade like he says).

There are no rules in this hobby against manufacturing collectibles. After all, American Tobacco was just a regular company with no affiliation to MLB.

If I create a set of baseball cards from my spare room and distribute them, they could become popular collectables 100 years from now.

Its a longshot -- but who's to say they wouldn't?

6th grade art project.

Slabbing primitive refrigerator art could be a new business model.

When did Rocco Baldelli play for Pittsburgh?
