I will give a SWAG (scientific wild ass guess) of value at $75-$150....if the Klein was in better shape it would be more, of course. Just a guess (it could be more) and you really will never know unless you put it in a big auction venue and see what it gets. Neat strip otherwise....

Or...
... you could just sell it to me for that $75-150, and set the market price yourself, for future generations to venerate and tout!!!! :D

Would this strip be considered a salesman's sample?

I have bought several strips(small parts of a sheet) over the years including a few here on Net54. Usually they sell for around the price of the players on it sold as singles or a little less. If there is a big star then they can sell for a premium.

Definitely not a salesman sample, just an uncut strip. I'm working on a full set like this and am about 60% complete, they pop up every so often.
From my experience Leon's estimate is about right, the condition is pretty rough. Here's mine, minus some recent additions http://photos.imageevent.com/griffin...e/Playball.jpg |

Not sure who the OP is, but this is my card. I currently have it For Sale on the "Elite Sports Cards Page" on Facebook. If anyone is interested in it, let me know. I can be reached at thunder835@yahoo.com

Since it is listed for sale maybe he is interested in buying it so was getting a value. Contact the OP and have at it. And good luck!!

It's a good item, but a thin market, IMO. I should mention that I am wrong all the time. |

Neat project Anthony.
