Questions on Early Joe Dimaggio picture
 

I have acquired this picture along with some other things. There are no markings on backside. Need help with possible age of picture, what type of photo it is and any value at all to it? Thank you All!

I can't speak on the value or whether it's a Type 1, but to me it looks like the image is from 1938 at some point. The bunting leads me to believe that it could be the World Series or Opening Day.

I agree with Graig, 1938. I believe you can just see the 1939 World's Fair patch on his left sleeve which all three New York team wore in during the 1938 season and the Yanks wore during the World Series against Chicago.

That kinda looks like George Raft that DiMaggio's standing with.

Those look like Mafia "tough guys" standing in the back.
