Long time no see. Ah,,, those Willow Grove and Ft Washington days with Bob Schmierer :). It was fun then.

Hi Richard,
Those "Wild West" days really were exciting, pre-Internet, even pre-catalogs for the most part. The anticipation of heading for a show or getting the new Trader Speaks or SCD to see what treasures might be lurking within can only be approached at the National these days. I still love the stuff, and I do enjoy the organization and relative sophistication the Web, AHs, TPAs, etc., have brought to the hobby, but I'm also grateful for having been there when it--and we--were young and evolving.
