When’s the Next Candiman Auction

When is the Candiman auction? Keeps getting pushed. I am looking to buy VG cards at advertised NRMT prices.

The best advice I can give is to stay away. Take it for what it's worth.

There is an unsubstantiated Ebay rumor that it may be held at the bottom of the Marianas Trench where Battlefields currently resides.

It’s when ever you feel like it. Tonight turn off all the light go in the bathroom, look in the mirror and say candiman 3 times. Before you know it alterd cards will start to appear in your mirror. Your entire collection will start to to lose grades and become alterd. Before you know it all your eBay feed back will be negative.

That is kind of funny. But those guys were the real deal....and their mom and dad too. (maybe)

Not quite as many defenders this time around as there were in the first candiman thread. I was surprised at how many members were actually bidding on an winning items in that auction.

Despite the 843 red flags, people tend to be optimists, it's understandable.

I believe in giving people 2nd chances. However, they quickly burned that up and here we are now.

I had bid in their first auction with an open mind. The raw card I won was listed as “near mint”. My intent was to send it in for grading and would have been satisfied with a 6, even 5.5, it just came back as a PSA 4.5
I wouldn’t partake in a future auction but doubt another one would take place. Perhaps another auction will surface in the far away future by the grand kids:D

Optimists? I have another word for what those people tend to be, and that's SUCKERS.

ezez420 10-02-2018 12:07 PM

I bid, I won and I sent it back.

I bid on 2 lots and won both of them. I received exactly what was described in the lots and was very happy with what I received and prices paid.

That being said i would never knowingly buy from them again.:)

Funny that, according to Daniel you were very satisfied with your experience.

bobbyw8469 10-02-2018 12:32 PM

I was the underbidder on a Hank Aaron rookie card that apparently never got paid because it wound up on Ebay 3 days later.

FWIW, here is some interesting bidding activity from one of their recently closed listings:
