Cincinnati Banner Identity
 

Guys looking for help identifying this banner. It is wool and measures 34 W x 19 H.
I have owned it for close to 30 years and bought it in an auction. Today is the 1st time it has been out of its box in 20 years. The description from the auction really didn't have an answer as to what it was. I only picked it up because I am a Reds fan.

Probably not baseball related. The "C" and "E" in the logo probably refers to the Cincinnati Enquirer newspaper.

Thanks for that. I couldn't figure out what the E would be for. Also, the only Banner County that I can find is in Nebraska.

Just a guess based on:

1) the banner is blue and not red.
2) there is nothing on it that says "Reds" or Red Stockings"

and

3) there are no baseball items or themes on the piece.

You would think if it were related to the Reds then the felt would be red in color or there would be a player or baseball logo on the piece or, at least, something baseball related used as a tie-in.

All I see are the "C" and the "E". So my immediate thoughts were of the Cincinnati Enquirer.
