Another Suspect T201 on the Bay

Back Damage from being removed from the pack? Hmmmm!

The title says "slabbed-graded 30-Good-SGC", but obviously not slabbed, graded, or having anything to do with SGC.

And the description says "Again this card HAS NOT been graded!!!"

He obviously just stole the title from this auction:

Notice the paper loss is conveniently at the spot where the word "reprint" should be & it looks like the card was aged a bit, possibly using the tea bag trick.
Here is a reprint (taken from eBay) that you can see the backside.

I sent him a message this morning stating just that. I didn't spell it out here but, yes, it is artificially aged and the paper loss eliminated the Reprint Identifier.

Probably a Reprint

Another comparison points this card to a reprint. Notice the curly image in the bottom right corner, the reprints all have this smudged top right curl. Also, on all reprints I have seen the ink appears thicker compared to originals.

The seller still hasn't taken down the listing but there are no bids, as yet.

Couple of additional artifacts which match the Reprint.

And the final straw ..... the seller is from Ohio.

Thanks for the laugh (Michigan Man).

Poor excuse for a listing. At least no one bought it and he hasn't relisted it (yet).

Nice catch on the details, Hogg...

I sent the guy a PM last night alerting him that it was a reprint. He asked how I was sure and I pointed out how to spot a fake. The listing was gone soon after. We will see if it reappears but it looks like he did the proper thing.

I did the same thing before I started this thread. Maybe you are more convincing than I am. Or it could have been the Tag Team effect:)
