Does anyone recognize this guy?

I picked this up because I could swear I have seen this guy (the player) before. But I can't figure out where.
Photo says "Webber; Brunswick, Maine" but that is it. Also, if someone could tell me the approximate time period, that would be cool. If it helps, when you turn the photo in the light, the dark parts are sort of outlined in something shiny. The oldest thing I have is 1887 (one old judge card), so if it is older than that, I would be very excited. Thanks everyone! Sean |
Cabot Mill baseball player. Not sure who, but a mill worker named Webber, I guess. Not sure when, but I'd say 1910s-20s.
Just guesses. |
I don't know if this will help, but the guy on the right looks just like Al.

Webber is most likely the photographer. You might want to look on the Maine Memory Network sight, they have a later team shot of the Cabot Mill baseball team with a similar uniform from the 1930's.

Cabot Mill Building
The Cabot Mill building is now known as Fort Andross. It has a great antique shop in the building and they had a couple of old Cabot Mills baseball team cabinets on display a few years back.
Ironically, the old bookcase I restored to house my T207 collection was bought at Cabot Mill Antiques. Here is a link: https://www.waterfrontmaine.com/ Patrick |
Thanks everyone!
Who is Al? You made me think of Al from Quantum Leap. Lol. |
