Mastro Buying Partner Wanted- various lot's thread

Posted By: Andy Baran
I'm looking for someone who would like to partner up on the following Mastro Lot. I'm interested in keeping the Davis, you would get the Delahanty:

Lot # 1237

<a href="http://www.mastronet.com/index.cfm?Action=DisplayContent&ContentName=Lot%20 Search%20Gallery</a" target="_new">http://www.mastronet.com/index.cfm?Action=DisplayContent&ContentName=Lot%20 Search%20Gallery</a>

1894 N142 Honest (Duke) Cabinets (2) with Davis and Delahanty

Lot Description

Presented is one-half of a set of N142 Honest (Duke) baseball cabinets. These 6" x 9" cabinet cards represent some of th most beautiful and coveted cards in our hobby. They are extremely scarce and are rarely offered for sale. Included in this pairing are cards of Hall of Famers George Davis and Ed Delahanty. The example featuring Ed Delahanty is especially desirable, as very few cards were produced with his image during his playing days. Due to their size, these cards are extremely difficult to find in collectable condition as they are often found with pinholes or back damage. The card of Delahanty exhibits some surface wrinkles and scratching, most notably affecting the letters of his first name. Its blank reverse is clean and grades GD/VG overall, but appears nicer. The card of Davis is gorgeous and appears to be in EX condition, but close inspection reveals that the extreme upper left corner has had an extremely minor, topical touch-up. Otherwise, it is in spectacular condition, exhibiting only a little chipping at the other three corners. A tremendous pair with exceptional visual appeal.
