New grading service

If you thought BCCG was confusing here's:

BCG ( Confused Grading)

All cards are graded a 10 but it is up to the buyer to read the fine print for the actual condition of the card. ????

SGC has a 10, that is actually a 1.....

Is BCG even affilated w/ Beckett?
Just looked up BCG on eBay and saw this Gem Mint 10
w/ a different holder and company name, Best Card Grading

I don't believe Beckett has a service BCG. They have BVS for vintage cards, BGS for modern cards, and then BCCG which is their inferiormost service.

From what I understand, the BCCG was created to grade cards intended for those QVC / home shopping-like TV ads, and basically every card gets a 9 or 10 regardless of the actual condition. The image you posted looks doctored -- the C of BCG in the upper-left corner clips the left-most edge of the G, so I suspect it really is a BCCG. And the numer 10 seems to have a whiter background than the rest.
