1933 Delongs Question

I am pondering putting this set together in the PSA/SGC 5 grade. Should I go with PSA or SGC? I am a collector and am not looking at resale value anytime in the near future.

If I go with SGC 5's, will I have a difficult time finding them? Are there more PSA graded cards in the 5 grade?

Thanks for any advice or thoughts you provide. There seems to be a ton on people on net54.com with massive amounts of knowledge.

Unless you want to deal with crossovers i'd go with PSA for this set. Just alot more available.

I'd recommend either and both. Look for nice cards already graded. Eventually decide on PSA or SGC and crack out the others and submit. Take your time. You'll decide for yourself which you enjoy having the most. Have fun with it.

I really like the SGC holder and the overall presentation. However, I worry about being able to find them. Another member said that they will be much easier to find in PSA. Then again, I am not in any rush to complete the set.

Was curious...

SGC has graded 979 Delongs w/ 97 grading EX SGC-60's
PSA has graded 2179 Delongs w/ 348 grading PSA-5's (no qualifiers)

With that said, I would collect both PSA & SGC finding cards that present well and have great value.
If you find after awhile you prefer 1 slabber over the other, you can cross the others over.

If it is not for resale, for me a lot would depend on how they look in the holder.
