eBay issue

Has anyone ever had this problem:

I bought a T206 card on ebay a couple of days ago from mintmoondog.

Then, I got an e-mail saying the item was no longer available. I had already paid (it was a PSA 6 MK and it sold for 49.50 shipping included). I was not refunded, and the item is no where to be found in My eBay nor is it in ANY completed listings.

It's been deleted from every system except PayPal, where it is still listed. Even within the paypal transaction, the title has no hyperlink!

That's very strange. Never happened to me, but I'd like to know how this works out.

This thread on the PSA boards will help explain it:

I actually got into contact with the seller about 45 minutes ago, and have been helping him.

eBay terminated all of his items without telling him why.

I told him that the reason was most likely because he had not sold an item for 5 years, and then quickly put 2000 items up for sale. So, the estute worker at eBay probably thought that the account had been compromised and, instead of trying to contact the seller at his registered number or e-mail, the worker simply canned all of the auctions without talking to ANYONE!

The estute worker failed to realize that this seller had been purchasing many items over the past few years, as well as in the past months.

eBay needs to start hiring intelligent people....not people who are selling Beer-Hats, Talking-Fish Plaques, and body-builder t-shirts, on the very next phone call.
