Acid in R310 Butterfingers

Does anyone know if you can neutralize the acid in R310 Butterfingers without lessening the value of the card? I love these cards, but wonder how long they will last.

I also collect comic books, and I use mylites-2 for my comics with double sided acid free cardboard backing. I can't say how they would work on a Butterfinger (they are SO brittle, kinda like the candy).

Thanks

I'll try that on one of my commons. I know a lady that had a frame shop used something on old newsprint. Worth a try. Thanks.

There are a few products that are used for this. Here's a couple. I think it's something that should be done, but I'm sure some would disagree.

I don't think these will reverse any aging from acid that's already happened, just prevent more.

There are deacidifying 'baths' for paper documents, but that in parts gets into the baseball card debates of restoration.
