Anybody know what this is? c1910 Ft. Worth minor league card

Just a random eBay purchase:

It is apparently a Fort Worth player and I would agree with the seller's description as a circa 1910 era photo. The card measures exactly 3 3/8 inches by 6 1/4 inches. It is a heavy cardboard stock and has a somewhat glossy finish. It is definitely factory cut as all the edges are very smooth, precise and uniform (the rough surface on the right edge is from paper attached to the back). I have not seen another card like this. Thanks very much for any input or ideas!

I don't know who that dude is...
But I think that's Leon's Quarter!

I haven't seen a card like that. My first guess from experience is that it is a cut from a photograph with a backing put on it. I don't think it will turn out to be a regular baseball card from any set. Baseball cards almost always have some form of printing on them.

Appears to be a cabinet or albumen photo used for a newspaper photo. Probably cut down from a bit larger piece, misc sizing marks on the back for production use.. But not a baseball "card".

Thanks for the input, guys. I was thinking the same thing, that it was a cabinet piece or something like that, although I have never seen one that size. The strangest thing to me is that it seems to be factory cut, so it doesn't appear to be cut down from a larger piece, unless it was done professionally or at least very precisely. Interesting card/piece nonetheless.
