Posted By: runscott
I recently acquired two Horner cabinet photos, both with addresses of "48 Winter St., Boston", as opposed to the usual "11 Winter St., Boston". Did he move his studio? Is this perhaps not actually Carl Horner? Any ideas are greatly appreciated. The other photo is actually much nicer, but very odd (non-baseball). I thought someone might recognize this guy:

Posted By: runscott
so I'll assume lack of response means my post got bumped and lost. Thanks in advance. We have a lot of people with a lot of knowledge on this board, but the only one who ever responds to photography posts is David Rudd. Surely there are others out there who have an interest in this sort of thing?

Posted By: hankron
I don't profess to be an expert on Carl Horner's street addresses, so I didn't want my opinions on the matter to be a part of permanent public record.

However, the information I gave was reliable, including the facts from the conversation with Horner's relative familiar with his business history.

Posted By: runscott
No one's going to say "according to photography expert David Rudd, ..."...I don't think...well, maybe...

Anyway, thanks for the info - your opinions on baseball photography are not only greatly appreciated, but they are the only ones we have.
