Just another guy putting together a T205 set one card at a time...
 

So I've got a few sets going at the same time - Diamond Stars, 51' Bowman, 54' Topps and 56' Topps - but going to focus my efforts on T205 for the time being...so far, here's my progress to date:



- 41/215
- 7 HofF (Brown, Jennings, Marquard, Mathewson, Speaker, Wallace w/ Cap & Wheat)

- all PSA 3 or SGC 40 except Chase - Both Ears (PSA 4) & Wheat (SGC 50)

Seems about right.

Ok, I'll bite. The basic set is 208 and the master is generally considered around 222 (although more variations certainly exist). How did you decide on a goal of 215?

Great cards btw! I'm at about 80/2?? myself.

I'm not going after the following:
- Dolly Gray Stats on Back
- Dick Hoblitzell No Stats
- Christy Mathewson Cycle Back, Incorrect Stats
- Pat Moran Stray Line of Type
- Bobby Wallace No Cap - 1 line of 1910 Stats
- Kaiser Wilhelm Suffered in 18th line of bio

I'm going for the Piedmont Factory 42 set. It's been more difficult than I expected. I just picked up these 2.

Yeap, as Conor mentioned. That ($30-$35) sounds about right. I will pay a little more for nicer cards regardless of grade. Here are my last buys including quite a few in the last 5-6 weeks. I expect it to eventually slow down a little... :eek:
