Posted By: <b>Jeff Lichtman</b><p>Actually, Erik, Cobb deliberately showed up late to the ceremony to avoid being photographed with Commisioner Landis. Cobb despised Landis due his belief that Landis did not give him a fair shake in the investigation at the end of Cobb's career of allegations that he and Tris Speaker had thrown a game. In the end, Landis didn't get into the picture anyway so Cobb's ruse was for naught.
